Lindsay Keating, OSII at Pierre Bottineau library, writes with a request for time off donations:
"I broke my ankle two weeks ago and only had enough sick time for two days. I am on crutches and in a boot for 4-6 weeks. I spent one week on the couch unable to barely get around my apartment - on the second floor. I was willing to go back to work this past week Friday and Saturday, even though I can't do many tasks. However, my boss told me on Thursday that I couldn't return to work the following day because my doctor would have to fill out and return FMLA forms. My doctor didn't get the forms until yesterday. Since I had no sick time, it was time off without pay. I'm asking if anyone would be willing to donate two days (16 hrs) of their vacation time."
